Data already available from existing subsystems, as fitted to most rolling stock over the past 25 years, can be leveraged utilising modern data harvesting techniques. When combined with deep analysis and visualisation, this approach delivers unprecedented levels of insight into the health of an asset, without costly additional sensor fitment.
Infinitive Group have been able to realise ground breaking insights into vehicle condition and maintenance through the combination of specialist industry knowledge and the utilisation of existing real-time datasets. In one project, encompassing 192 trains for London Underground, savings of £80m over a 5 year period are on target to be realised. Notably, Infinitive Group have been able to improve the Mean Distance Between Service Effecting Failures (MDBSAF) by 20% through this approach.

- Artemis Data Analytics and Visualisation – Analytics technology is used to analyse complex data sets and visualise them so that humans are able to read, trend, and action information created
- Management and Advisory Services – Rail operational know-how is used to contextualise information generated by Artemis and ensure our customers strategic initiatives are delivered and value can be quickly realised
