We are thrilled to announce that Infinitive Group will be attending the Middle East Rail event. As experts in transport planning and infrastructure, we are always eager to learn and explore new developments in the industry.
Our work on the Doha metro during the World Cup is a testament to our dedication to delivering successful projects. We faced numerous challenges, including a tight timeline for delivery, uncertainty regarding available technology data sets, and frequent changes to cloud-based infrastructure procedures and processes regarding cyber-security measures. However, through our collaborative efforts and agile project methodology, we were able to design and implement a comprehensive security plan, integrate existing technology data sets, and create real-time alarms and triggers for prepared and rehearsed mitigations.
Our transport study included overlaying the baseline traffic modelling with additional capacity requirements for the World Cup. We comprehensively captured and evaluated all travel routes for each World Cup match and activation event, submitting three separately focused reports and 2000+ supporting modelling visualizations that met the client’s deadline. As a result of our reports and subsequent positive stakeholder review, we were further engaged to support the event by the rapid design, development, and deployment of two additional workstreams, including a queue management ‘App’ and a scenario-based passenger simulation model.
We are excited to share our experiences and insights at the Middle East Rail event and look forward to networking and engaging with industry professionals.
